 Where....Cape Cod cottages with pink
shutters, flowering window boxes and weathered shingles are scattered among shade trees,
flower gardens and manicured lawns.
And just around the corner are three warm, sunny beaches in Hyannis (which
by the way, has its well known "Main Street" less than one mile north of the
village).
Hyannis Harbor, with the coming and going of sailboats, fishing boats and
ferries to Nantucket & Martha's Vineyard, is also within strolling distance.
 Flexibility
is the keyword at Captain Gosnold Village in Hyannis, where the accommodations
range from motel rooms and
efficiency/studio units, to one, two, and three bedroom cottages. All units
are one-level, with lawn area, picnic tables, gas grills, most with decks.
Although the natives insist on
the generic term "cottages", our units are more "house" than
"cottage" in many respects. Each cottage is unique in its decorations and furnishings, with
well-equipped kitchens, wall-to-wall carpeting, and many personal touches, providing a
"home-away-from home" for our guests. Each bedroom has its own bath, solving
"that" problem, particularly where three or four showers a day may be the norm.

If there is
a chef "in-residence", brunch, lunch, or a full-blown banquet can be handled in
the kitchen (giving you the option of not having to eat out 3 times a day, an added
money-Saving bonus!). Cocktail hour on the deck or the lawn is a very pleasant interlude
after a day at the beach or the pool. If you insist upon leaving the Village one of the
most popular restaurants in Hyannis is right across the street. (The only other exception
to our residential neighborhood.) Daily maid service (except Sundays) is a major part of
our focus on relaxation and is provided by our friendly staff whose emphasis is on the
guest and service. (Remember we don't do windows or dishes!)
 Captain Gosnold Village is
a replica of a small Cape Cod neighborhood or village, with a large heated pool in the
center of.the property which is extensive, affording a secluded, relaxed, informal
vacation setting, with wide expanses of lawn, flowers, and trees, interspersed along the
driveways. A children's playground is located at one end of the property, with adult
recreational equipment also available. We are family-oriented and try to anticipate the
needs of the youngest to the oldest guest.
